The Hidden Forest Wildlife Sanctuary - now an award-winning sanctuary

On 15 September 2019, during the opening ceremony of the 80th Skål World Congress held onboard the Royal Caribbean “Symphony of the Seas” – SAASA was awarded the prestigious accolade of being Global “Major Tourist Attraction”, making SAASA the official winners of the 2019 Skål Sustainable Tourism Awards in the category of Major Tourist Attraction. 


About Primates

The primate family can be devided into two different groups and then into five subgroups, which encompass all 234 species of primates. To begin with, we need to define what it is exactly that makes an animal part of the primate family and how these physical characteristics assist the animal in its day-to-day life.
